At first glance you might mistake Mulberry’s Black Maisie Clipper Satchel for an Alexa—with its large front flap and signature twin straps—but a quick double take will reveal the Alexa details are merely an embossed illusion! Crafted from a combination of black heavy suede on the sides and Smooth Touch leather on the flapless/strapless front and back, this squarish bag has gold hardware, one zipped pocket on the back, and rounded handles with a 5-inch drop. Unzip the top and you’ll find black logo fabric lining with one zipped and one slide pocket inside. In very good condition with a dustbag, clochette, cards, and tag, it has light wear on the corners, a scuff on the back handle, a few scratches throughout, a small white mark on the suede on the right side, and two subtle creases on the back (maybe from storage). The embossing adds a fun element to this Mulberry, just remember not to try to twist the turnlock—it’s only a mirage!
