An eye­catching feature on this three-hand watch is the slightly recessed inner circle, which lends the dial a sense of structure and depth. Although sportiness is not a priority for this watch, which is water-resistant to 6 bar, it is certainly “airworthy”, as the movement is enclosed in a soft-iron inner case for increased protection against magnetic fields. The mechanical 35111-­calibre automatic movement has a power reserve of 42 hours. The Pilot’s Watch Automatic 36 with a blue dial comes with a blue alligator leather strap from Santoni.
