After the success of Hermès’ limited edition Candy Collection, the brand’s next seasonal alteration of the classic Birkin bag took things to the next level. Going beyond contrasting interior colors, the Club Birkins added different materials in the form of a bold stripe down the center of the bag. The most striking versions of the Club feature Crinoline made from woven horse hair in the center, framed by Barenia leather. This 35cm example is one such bag, sporting the unique strip of Barenia leather across the top, moving the Hermès brand stamp to the interior. The bright red Crinoline contrasts with the sturdy Indigo Fjord leather, all topped with Palladium hardware, and kept in exceptional condition. The combination of horse hair and Barenia aligns this bag strongly with Hermès equestrian roots.
