The Hermes Birkin designer bag was so named in 1984 after British actress Jane Birkin was on a flight from Paris to London sitting next to Jean-Louis Dumas, Executive Chairman of Hermes (1978 -2006),  She complained that she couldn't find a suitable bag whilst at that time being a new mother.  Jean-Louis instantly sketched up a luxurious bag that met her needs, and the Hermes Berkin was born.

This beautiful vintage Hermes Birkin designer bag is a true vintage piece within the Vintage Boo Boo Hermes collection. Its production date goes back to the wonderful year of 1999. Clemence leather is said to be one of the smoothest and softest ones, and even if it lacks the durability of the Togo leather type, this vintage piece can compete as an equal with the house's newer pieces.
